There are two well know methods of get discounts that we all use, although is not much of a price cut.
Method 1: book you ticket few months later before you trip or vacation, well, that method has been used for quiet sometime but will not really save you much.
The other issue with this method is, you risk losing all or some of your money.
If you book your tickets few months before your trip, chances are things could change and you might not go on that trip.
Method 2: this one we spoke about earlier, that is going on every fight booking website to try and find those cheap flight tickets.
There are tons of booking websites for flight ticket in South Africa, but they are all running a business.
If one website is better than the other, well you might get a minimum discount of R50 to R300.
It’s a saving, but not a lot, what if I told you that there are 2 great methods that can save you at least R1000 and even more.

How to Find Cheap Flights to Durban?
Here are the two practical methods to find the cheapest flights to Durban.
Method 1:
Wait for hourly special or promotions through pick and pay, I once bought a ticket to Cape Town for R350 in 2019.
Yes, I was flying with people who bought their flight ticket for just over R1 800, same airline, same time, same destination.
How did I find a tickets for R350?
Well, I had to attend my friends’ wadding and I was broken, I had to do the sacrifice of check every hour if there are not specials or promotions.
After 3 days of checking hourly, eventually found a 30-minute promotion and bought the ticket.
It’s that simple, if you work in a mall or close to shops, you can try this strategy, works but of course won’t be ideal for you if you are tied at work.
Method 2:
Book early flights, most flights on early hours are likely to be way cheaper.
Forget about the windows seat, that’s the only thing you might need to comprise since you won’t be seeing ocean.
