The Harties Aerial Cableway Hartbeespoort is a 1.2-kilometer-long cableway that runs to the top of the Magaliesberg and provides panoramic views over the Magaliesberg, Hartbeespoort Dam, and the surrounding area. It was built in 1973.
It is the longest mono-cableway in Africa, and it is located 1 km north of Hartbeespoort in the North West Province.
Zargodox (Pty) Ltd totally renovated and modernized the cableway in 2010, and it was inaugurated on August 14, 2010 by then-Minister of Tourism Marthinus van Schalkwyk.
Seven days a week, the aerial cableway is open.
