after dialing *188#.<\/p>\n<p>You may also send a blank SMS message to 188 or go to My Telkom and choose airtime balance enquiry from the menu.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the Telkom app, which is available for Android and Apple smartphones, may be used to check your balance.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_check_Telkom_data_balance\"><\/span>How to check Telkom data balance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To check your Telkom data balance, use any of the following methods:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select data packages by logging into My Telkom.<\/li>\n<li>Download the Telkom App for Android or Apple and use it to check your Telkom data balance.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the voice prompts by dialing 188.<\/li>\n<li>Press &#8220;Send&#8221; after dialing *188#.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the directions after sending a blank SMS to 188.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_can_I_transfer_Telkom_airtime\"><\/span>How can I transfer Telkom airtime?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Simply call *180# and follow the simple directions to transfer airtime from your Telkom phone to another Telkom number.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_the_best_way_to_transfer_data_on_Telkom\"><\/span>What is the best way to transfer data on Telkom?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Telkom mobile prepaid customers can share data with other Telkom mobile prepaid customers.<\/p>\n<p>Only once-off data bundles are eligible for the transfer.<\/p>\n<p>Follow these procedures to transfer data on Telkom:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select &#8220;Transfer&#8221; by dialing *180#.<\/li>\n<li>Then, from the option that appears, choose &#8220;Data Bundle&#8221; and the quantity of data you want to transmit.<\/li>\n<li>To complete the transfer, simply follow the directions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The data will be valid for the duration of the donor data bundle validity period.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you give 250MB from a 500MB data bundle purchased on June 1, 2026 and expires on January 31, 2021, the 250MB contributed data bundle will likewise expire on June 31, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>An SMS will be sent to both the sender and the receiver verifying the amount of the sent data bundle as well as the expiration date.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_send_a_%E2%80%98Call_Me_SMS_for_free\"><\/span>How to send a &#8216;Call Me&#8217;
